THE FIRST BOOK OF MOSES CALLED
GENESIS
CHAPTER 6

And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it   grieved him at his heart.

And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

BOOK OF MOSES
CHAPTER 8

25 And it repented Noah, and his heart was pained that the Lord had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at the heart.

26 And the Lord said: I will destroy man whom I have created, from the face of the earth, both man and beast, and the creeping things, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth Noah that I have created them, and that I have made them; and he hath called upon me; for they have sought his life.

In Genesis it says that the creator is repentant that he made man - I have come to understand this scripture with the help of other scriptures found elsewhere. (I think The Book of Enoch - I have to look again.)  But now the Book of Moses says that Noah is sorry that God had made man, this is a big difference.  The missionarys are visiting tonight, I'll ask them about it.

Update:

The missionarys said they would look into it - good answer, if you don't know the answer, admit it, don't make something up.

When and if the Mormon missionarys come knocking on your door please be nice.  Thier job is to get you to join their church and all you have to do is just say no if you're not interested.  These are young men usually who have not yet finished college who have actually paid to have the opportunity to knock on your door.  PAID, they're not getting paid, they're actually paying to do this, and they do this willingly.  You might wonder why - but if I believed that the prophet of the church was second in command to Jesus Christ, well, I might pay also to be a witness of such a thing, so, be nice.

As for me, I was baptized maybe 15 years ago, can't really remember, it was while I was in the Navy and soon after decided it wasn't the true church, but they caught up to me and I'm being open minded and listening to what they have to say.
