Bush comes to the heartland on May 6th to apologize for raising gas prices, using up our surplus and creating a deficit due to his war in Iraq, and all us peace luvin folk will be there in support - Istook always knew his leader would do the right thing.
*Sorry, I must have dozed off* The Daily O'Collegian - The May 6 ceremony has been moved to Boone Pickens Stadium (OSU) to accommodate an expected crowd of about 40,000 students and their families and friends. The two ceremonies previously scheduled at Gallagher-Iba Arenahave been combined into one all-college ceremony open to the public. Actually Oklahoma was never important enough for Bush to visit, though we voted him in office, one of the few red states left, and that's questionable. But now Texas doesn't want him, he seeks to find refuge here in the heartland, Oklahoma, a place, some years back, bombed by a right wing militia group, and until now ignored, yet still loyal, a few have put on spectacles and see things no longer blurry, but clearly see the truth. What we have seen has caused us to be a little disrespectful to our president, when he comes to visit, we'll have a thing or two to say and none of those things will include an apology. THIS IS NOT one nation under Halliburton or Exxon. Our fore fathers created this nation NOT FOR Halliburton or Exxon. This is one nation by the people for the people and Halliburton and Exxon wasn't included. To Bush, who refuses to apologize for calling the U.S. Constitution just a *
GOD DAMN PIECE OF PAPER*
we disagree, and as true patriots to our fore fathers and our Constitution will voice that disagreement. You don't have to be an Okie to join us - just willing to do the American thing, the patriotic thing, and stand up for America and let her voice be heard against the dictators who will try to steal her away.
